BLOG 5 - A Photograph and Its Story
This photograph was taken by a colleague of the territorial collective in which my brother participates and was taken for March 8, this was the first march I went to, it was the year 2019 and I was still in school, I remember that day very well it was Friday and after classes I went home to rest a hours and then I got ready and went with my sister to Plaza de la Dignidad in the subway, when there were only a few stations left to arrive the atmosphere in the subway was already forming, most of us in the wagon were women who would attend the march, once we arrived at Baquedano station we started to feel the screams and the atmosphere despite the chaos felt very comforting. That day we walked from the baquedano subway station to the heroes, it was a very emotional march, there were dance groups, actresses and the atmosphere was wrapped with the smell of palo santo.
