BLOG 4 - Postgraduate Studies

 For my family all my life studies have been very important, my mother always wanted to instill in me and my siblings the importance of going to college and how it opens many doors in adult life. Ironically none of my brothers finished his career so I am like the hope that remains and I instilled with a greater degree, so I have always aimed to have my college degree, and there was a time when I wanted to study public administration as I mentioned in a previous blog, and this is the first time I was interested in doing a postgraduate degree, my idea was to study politics and

then specialize in gender issues. But now studying architecture there is no postgraduate degree that contemplates only this area because as such architecture does not oppress women, but if I have been very interested in doing a postgraduate degree with a rather social theme, and I think that would be very interesting considering that the housing problem for vulnerable people has a great scope both nationally and internationally. Unfortunately, in Chile there is not much variety of postgraduate

programs and most of them are very similar, which in some way encourages people to look for opportunities in other countries. The truth is that for the moment I have not investigated so deeply to which one in particular I would like to access but for the moment the universities in Spain call my attention.
